Types of Natural Gas

Piped Natural Gas(PNG)

Transported by long-distance pipelines from gas fields to cities, and then distributed through city network.

Compressed Natural Gas(CNG)

Natural gas compressed to smaller volume with high pressure (about 200~250 bar), transported by trucks to cities or factories for consumption. Normally 1m3 of CNG can give rise to 200~250m3 of natural gas.

Liquefied Natural Gas(LNG)

Natural gas liquefied at critically low temperature (about –162℃), transported by ships or trucks to LNG terminals where it is gasified to become PNG. Normally 1m3 of LNG can give rise to 600m3 of natural gas.
